Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC) - Critical Care Course

Advanced Medical Concepts in collaboration with WAMC, offers a 10 day critical care course for all DoD Paramedics (state or national), Advanced Tactical Paramedics, and Registered Nurses.

This course is designed to familiarize individuals with the skills required to operate as a Flight Paramedic, Critical Care Paramedic, and Certified Flight Registered Nurse.

All course related fees are covered by WAMC. The attendee’s assigned unit is only responsible for travel, per diem and lodging related expenses. This course offering also includes a test voucher through the International Board of Specialty Certifications (IBSC). The test voucher allows the course attendee to challenge the Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C) examination.

1. Paper and pencil testing will occur the Tuesday following training completion at the Taylor Sandri Center. Results are received within 4 to 6 weeks.

 

2. Testing for nurses (RN only) is only offered as a computer-based test at Pearson View Testing Center. Test results will be available immediately.
